“Every curse has a story behind it… but some stories are so dangerous that even learning them becomes a new curse.”
Three months had passed.
Black Hollow looked like a peaceful town once again. The name The Vanishing Village had faded into local legends.
But Ethan Parker knew the truth was far from over.
Every night, at exactly 6:15 PM, the old leather map on his desk unfolded by itself.
This time, a new location appeared.
“The Temple of Shadows.”
Beneath the map, a single line was written:
“If you wish to understand the Tantrik… go to the place where he first made his bargain with the darkness.”
After four days of a difficult journey, Ethan reached the ruins of an ancient temple standing high on a lonely mountain.
Its massive entrance had collapsed.
Strange symbols covered the stone walls, as though fiery spells had been carved directly into the rock.
The moment Ethan stepped inside, his camera screen suddenly went black.
His watch…
Stopped at 6:15 PM.

A deep voice echoed through the temple.
“Time cannot save you here…”
An old monk slowly emerged from the darkness.
A white cloth covered his eyes.
“You are Ethan Parker.”
Ethan froze.
“How do you know my name?”
The monk smiled.
“The one who silenced the cursed bell…
must learn the complete history.”
“You knew the Tantrik?”
The monk’s smile disappeared.
“I didn’t just know him…
I once called him my brother.”
The monk took a deep breath.
“The world remembers him as the Tantrik…
but his real name was…”
Aryamitra.
He had once been one of the greatest scholars of his age.
He was never afraid of death…
He feared being forgotten.
He wanted his name to live forever.
That obsession led him toward forbidden knowledge.
Centuries ago, Aryamitra discovered a hidden cave beneath this very temple.
At its center rested a strange black stone.
Then a voice whispered from within.
*”Set me free…
and I shall make you the master of time.”*
The voice belonged to Morvak…
The Devourer of Time.
Aryamitra accepted the bargain.
In return, he received…
Night Iron.
But the price was enormous.
With every new power, another piece of his soul was consumed by darkness.
Aryamitra knew Morvak could never be released directly.
He needed a vessel.
So he searched for the world’s greatest blacksmith…
Elias.
Using Night Iron, Elias forged the cursed black bell.
Then Aryamitra tempted the greedy village chief near Black Hollow with promises of eternal life.
The rest became history.
Every time the bell rang…
Morvak’s prison weakened.
Ethan asked,
“If Morvak was so powerful…
why didn’t he kill Aryamitra?”
The monk answered quietly.
“Because Aryamitra became his very first Keeper.”
“When the bell was forged…
Morvak cursed him as well.”
“He became immortal…
but he was never truly free.”
For centuries…
he wandered inside the prison he had created himself.
Inside the temple’s inner sanctum stood an ancient stone chest.
Within it lay a worn leather diary.
The moment Ethan opened the first page, his heart skipped a beat.
It read:
**”If someone is reading this…
it means I have already failed.”**
It was Aryamitra’s diary.
Inside he had written:
*”Morvak never lies…
but he never tells the whole truth either.
I believed I could control him.
Instead…
he made me his prisoner.”*

On the final page of the diary was another map.
It was not a map of Black Hollow.
Beneath it were the words:
“The Valley of Forgotten Bells.”
The monk quickly slammed the diary shut.
“No…”
“No one must ever find that place.”
“Why?”
“Because there…”
“There isn’t just one cursed bell…”
“There are hundreds.”
Suddenly, the temple walls began to shake.
The air turned icy cold.
The ancient symbols carved into the walls slowly started glowing.
Then the same deep voice echoed again.
*”Aryamitra is dead…
but his promise still lives.”*
The entire temple filled with black smoke.
Within the darkness, a tall shadow appeared.
Its face remained hidden.
Only its burning red eyes could be seen.
The shadow laughed softly.
“So…
you finally found me, Ethan.”
“Are you… Aryamitra?”
“No.”
“Aryamitra died long ago.”
“I…”
“am what remained of him.”
“His greed…
his darkness…
his unfinished desire.”
“When a man bargains with darkness…
his body dies…
but his shadow lives forever.”
The shadow vanished.
Silence returned to the temple.
But something now rested on the floor.
A small black key.
Engraved upon it were the words:
“Valley of Forgotten Bells.”
The monk’s face turned pale.
“Only one person receives that key…”
“The one chosen for the next trial.”

Ethan picked up the key.
At that very moment…
his watch began ticking again.
6:16 PM.
For the first time…
time had finally moved forward.
But beyond the distant mountains…
hundreds of bells rang together.
Dong…
Dong…
Dong…
Ethan stared toward the horizon.
He finally understood.
The Vanishing Village had only been the beginning.
The real mystery was still waiting for him…
The Valley of Forgotten Bells…
