In a small village lived a young boy named Pihu.
Pihu loved flying kites more than anything.
One day, he took out his favorite blue kite and said,
“Today, I will fly this higher than ever!”
He ran to the fields.
The sun was perfect, the sky was clear, but there was one problem —
the wind was very strong.
Pihu lifted the kite.
It went up, but suddenly snap! a strong pull tilted it sideways.
Pihu grew upset and said,
“This wind is bad! It never lets me do anything!”
Just then, an old kite-flyer named Uncle Hari said,
“Pihu, a kite doesn’t fight the wind…
it uses the wind to rise.”
Pihu wondered, “Use it? But the wind is too strong!”
Uncle Hari smiled and said,
“The thing you fear the most can also lift you the highest…
you just need a firm grip.”
Pihu tried again.
This time, the kite shook, dipped low, and pulled hard…
but Pihu held the string tight, planted his feet, and didn’t let go.
And within moments…
the kite was the highest in the sky!
Pihu shouted with joy,
“Uncle, you were right! The wind wasn’t my enemy—it helped me!”
Uncle Hari laughed and said,
“Life works the same way —
problems are like the wind.
If you fear them, they pull you down.
If you face them, they lift you up.”
